As a free member of OstoDate, you can view other members’ profiles, access most functions and features, and explore our services before considering a OstoDate+ Subscription purchase. Certain features, such as sending messages, posting content, or viewing restricted areas, are exclusive to OstoDate+ subscribers.
Immediate Access & Cancellation Rights
By purchasing a OstoDate+ Subscription, you request immediate access to premium features and agree that once you access any member-only feature (including sending messages, posting content, or viewing restricted areas), you lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
This applies equally to subscription renewals, where continued access to premium features is provided immediately upon renewal. To prevent a renewal charge, cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled renewal date.
This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the service is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill.
Refunds will not be given for change of mind, early account closure, or non-use after access has been granted, except where required by law.
For members in the EU or European Economic Area, local regulations may entitle you to a refund within 14 days of the subscription start date only if no OstoDate+ features have been accessed. If eligible, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. OstoDate and CCBill cannot issue refunds via cash, check, or alternative payment methods.
In the unlikely event that a chargeback is filed, please note that all disputes are carefully reviewed. Repeated or unwarranted chargebacks may be reported to card networks and payment processors, which could impact your ability to make future online purchases.
Filing a dispute for a valid transaction is considered misuse of the chargeback process and may result in investigation, recovery of associated fees and costs, and, in cases of fraudulent claims, possible legal action.
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly with any concerns before initiating a chargeback, so we can work with you to resolve the matter promptly.
Accounts terminated by us for policy or terms violations forfeit any refund rights.
